The Noble Gold website offers clearly signposted information and is well laid out in a brochure-like style. All services and products come with detailed specifications with options for visitors to request further information through their noted physical guidebook.
They also publish a wide range of educational information, guides, analysis and market news and make very sound arguments for the use of gold and other precious metals in any diversified portfolio.
Website Useability
The site is remarkably easy to use thanks to clear navigation and a clean modern unfussy design – and a fully-responsive layout makes it just as usable on a desktop as a phone.
Text sizes are large with excellent contrast between dark gray text on white backgrounds or white on dark blue or dark gray. Images all carry alt text and the site expands nicely using browser magnification. Although there is not currently a specific accessibility menu, the existing design makes the site very easy to use for most.
Disclaimers and disclosures are easy to find as is full contact information, but at the time of this review we couldn’t locate a privacy policy on the main site.

For some context I am fastidious in everything I do and I would imagine this can make me a nightmare customer as I need to weigh up every decision carefully.
When I embarked on this ‘journey’ I contacted all the main Gold IRA companies listed in your directory and made a table showing everything each company did during each interaction, good and bad so I could help make my decision.
Some companies I discounted almost immediately as they called my cell an average of 8 times over the spce of a day and evening. This is desperation or the start of a hard sales call. I am in sales myself so I know what I’m talking about.
Other companies when I asked them about pricing got very defensive and even aggressive making up tall tales about how it’s difficult to price gold or silver without knowing what kind of coins I would want. I said I wanted the most basic gold or silver available at the lowest possible price and that giving me these prices should be straightforward given that gold and silver are commodities and sold on weight. If I wanted 1000oz of silver and 50oz gold I would have assumed an answer would have been easy but no.
Why no?
Because these companies wanted to sell me ‘special’ coins with a better value than regular bullion coins or bars.
I reiterated that no I only wanted basic bullion coins and did not care what they were other than they had to be allowable in my IRA.
They persisted and would only continue if I at least gave them the option of seeing what a portfolio with special coins in it could look like. They would give me an illustration / quote.
Before these calls I had priced up what 1000oz silver and 50oz gold should cost, basing my math on 10oz silver bars and 1oz gold american eagles as these seemed the best for resale, from looking on forums and reading up on what coins make the best investments.
Would you believe it , but their illustrations came back and in each case I would own almost HALF the precious metals I had calculated possible if I went with their special coins?
When I pressed them and said that collectable and rare coins were not allowed in an IRA unless proofs from the US mint, they got very aggressive and gave me all sorts of lies about these coins being allowed. I asked if they were allowed because they were not in fact collectible, but ordinary bullion coins at a huge mark-up. When faced with this conundrum about collectibles not being allowed, but these being collectibles not bullion it’s like they realized they had been rumbled and said I was not their typical customer and suggested I tried elsewhere.
Which brings me onto Noble Gold!
I spoke to a lovely man who explained that Noble Gold ONLY sold bullion and they would be happy to give me a quotation for the metals I wanted. I didn’t need to force the issue, I didn’t need to argue, Noble Gold simply gave me a price on 1000oz silver and 50oz gold.
Not only this, but the price was broadly in line with what I had expected / hoped for, even including other costs associated with an IRA.
With this easy issue sorted and out of the way, I then had a great chat with the rep who was remarkably well educated on the market, both metals and geopolitical and he put my mind at ease in every possible way.
The contrast between Noble Gold and these other companies, one of whom is meant to be top of the game was staggering.
It shouldn’t be hard to get a price and some good honest feedback and that’s exactly what I got with Noble.
No hard sell, no dancing around half-truths and obvious nonsense about ‘collectibles’ not being collectibles in the IRS sense, but still collectibles in the minds of investors!
Noble Gold won my order hands down, they are the picture of professionalism, transparency and honesty and I’m so glad I spoke to them when I did because after speaking to some of the other companies I had began to go off the idea of buying gold altogether.

My dealings with Nobel were all very good and I cannot fault them in any way, but perhaps the process with Equity Trust could be made smoother or more clear. I know it’s outside of Noble’s hands mostly but this was the only real point of friction for me. Costs were also a little confusing and again this was on Equity Trust’s side, but if I’m opening a Gold IRA I want to look at the whole process, not just the buying.
