As a large precious metals refiner, the Emirates Minting website contains a lot of detailed company, service and product information. Product images are well photographed and clear There is no information on precious metals investment per se, as investment advice is typically reserved to the companies selling Emirates Minting’s products.

Emirates Minting’s site is simple to use and easy to navigate with all information on their products and services being clearly signposted in the drop-down menu. Font sizes are large and easy to read. Contact information is clear and visible.

I had the pleasure in visiting Emirates Minting’s new shop in Deira Gold Souk Extension and meeting their general manager Samir Kharsa who was very helpful explaining the company’s services. Their range of products on sale is extensive and what interested me most was their custom minting, something I’m looking to make use of in the near future as their set-up costs are very competitive compared to other places I’ve tried – especially in the UK.
For those just looking for well priced bullion, their stock products are available at very low premiums over spot – in particular their cast silver kilobars which were the best-priced I’ve found yet in the whole of Deira.
If you’ve not yet been to the Gold Souk Extension, it’s worth making the trip to see Emirates Minting if you’re more interested in investment bullion rather than jewellery and would like to see it in a clean modern (and air-conditioned) shop.
