Research & Data Entry – Beginner Level
Bullion.Directory is looking for a beginner level research and data entry technician. This is strictly a self-employed role.
We need a research / data entry technician to research gold bullion companies or jewellers who sell gold bullion in Dubai, the UAE region and beyond that are not currently listed in Bullion.Directory
The Role
Using Google Search, Google Maps, or in-person research, you will find companies who sell gold bullion bars, coins and/or numismatics in given geographic areas.
Through this research, you will find the company name, company address, their phone, website URL and also a short excerpt of text from the company website’s ‘About’ page.
All companies MUST have a website.
You will then note:
- if they have an e-commerce store
- if they sell bullion bars or coins
- if they sell numismatics / collectible coins
- if they provide investment accounts or retirement accounts.
This information will then be fed into a simple web form like THIS and it will output a text file which will be saved to your computer.
You will collect these text files and send them to us weekly.
Important
Applicants must have an excellent grasp of written English. It is essential that the information you research / supply is accurate and up to date, with correct spelling and punctuation.
Information must be found and entered manually and not by use of any scraper or automated technology.
You must be capable of following basic instructions carefully and have an eye for detail. As an example you must use the word ‘succinct’ somewhere in your application letter. If you didn’t notice this point and didn’t add it to your application you will not be considered.
Starting Remuneration
Remuneration is based on a per-piece rate starting at 5 AED per listing and may rise depending on quality of work produced. Input times should take less than 5 minutes per listing. This can equate to approximately 60 AED/hr OTE.
This role can lead to additional similar work within our group of websites and the right candidate has an opportunity to see more advanced roles with correspondingly better remuneration in the future.
